Sigh ... we knew it would be difficult, but we knew it was also important to the family. There were lots of highlights to the weekend as well as a few challenges! Highlights: * Dan proposed to Maria and we were there just in time to hear the news! * Lots of family was there: Dan and Rhonda's family, All of Bill's family, Kyle and Rebecca from Bob and Susanne's family and Grandpa. * We (Kayleigh, Benner and I) got to see Cabeto for the first time (or first time in SOOOO LONG) * It was BEAUTIFUL weather * God's splendor was apparent in all of the beauty around us * We got some fantastic exercise * We got to go to Mackinac Island!! (Steve and I haven't been in FOREVER, and Kayleigh and Benjamin have never been).

Challenges: * Arriving at the hotel at 9:30 with babies wide awake who usually are usually long since sleeping * NO sleeping the first night as we all shared a room, and little Benny recuperated from an ear infection * Spending 8 straight hours on the island with two little kids and no naps! * Settling down from a no nap day :( * Diarrhea for both after all of the stress and change (Kayleigh's causing some pretty awful conditions for driving home!) ... we MIGHT be over it now.
